Paul Downing – IT Manager

Paul joined the firm in March 2009, and is responsible for the day to day running of the IT infrastructure. Paul’s main focus is to ensure the firms case management system is up to date and running efficiently.
In his spare time Paul enjoys watching football and is a member of the Rollercoaster Club of Great Britain.

Nicola Klimkowski – Business Development Manager

Nicola is originally from Swindon in Wiltshire. She established herself in the North West whilst she studied Law at The University of Liverpool and then proceeded onto Chester School of Law. Nicola qualified and practised in the area of personal injury. During this time she was offered to relocate to Gibraltar for five years, where she worked as an underwriter for an ATE insurer and lived at the foot of The Rock overlooking the Straights of Gibraltar.

She left the sunny climate and returned to the UK in the role as underwriter and business development manager. She is now responsible for the development and marketing of the practice, with innovative ideas and forward planning.

Out of work she enjoys cleaning (OCD tendencies), going to festivals, Rioja, plays badminton once a week with a team, going to the theatre and eating out at her favourite restaurants.

John Swain – Accounts Manager

John joined the Accounts team at Duncan Gibbins in January 2009, becoming Accounts Manager in January of this year. Previously he spent six years as a Data Analyst at the Liverpool Daily Post & Echo. He is currently working towards a Diploma with the Institute of Legal Cashiers & Administrators. Before immersing himself in the world of numbers, John studied History at the University of Leeds, graduating with a First in 2000.

Outside of work, John is a keen runner, reader, cook, cinema-goer and a lifelong supporter of Liverpool Football Club.

Sarah Jarvis – Coordination Manager

Sarah has worked within the Personal Injury Industry for over 10 years. She has worked for Duncan Gibbins Solicitors since 2007. Prior to that Sarah had worked with Duncan Gibbins on other projects since 2001. Sarah helps co-ordinate between the different Partners and Managers to ensure that we meet our high client care requirements. Sarah has gained a lot of experience in helping manage our firm.
