Legacy

Duncan Gibbins Legacy

After establishing Duncan Gibbins Legacy, a campaign wherein all of our Corporate Social Responsibility work falls, we have worked hard to form strong links with charities, local clubs and schools within the North West of England.

Whilst at Duncan Gibbins Solicitors we are proud of the work we do and the help provided to persons injured as a result of negligence, we also understand how our resources can help others.

Our most valuable asset is our team; their creativity, enthusiasm, passion and determination. We’ve shown that these attributes not only assist in bringing an injured person’s claim to a successful conclusion but can also have a big impact upon our community.

Our Aim

Although the firm is young and constantly evolving and expanding, in the last six years our team have been donating money, running, climbing, dressing up, baking and much more to raise funds for local and national charities.

In challenging times such as these, it is not only charitable organisations that face budget cuts and reduced revenue. Many local clubs and groups struggle to raise income as benefactors tighten the economic belt.

Duncan Gibbins Solicitors are committed to helping to “fill the void”, assisting the hard work put in by volunteers by providing sponsorship for events and teams.

The Environment

As well as providing help to our local community, Duncan Gibbins Solicitors embraces its responsibility to the wider environment.Duncan Gibbins Solicitors is committed to recycling as much of the waste we generate as possible.

There are hundreds of ways in which a small change can make a big difference to the environment and all of our plans for growth and development include a sustainability strategy and effort to reduce our “Carbon Footprint”.

Recruitment

To keep increasing the work we do for both victims of accidents and for our community, we appreciate that we must encourage the next generation of developing lawyers.

Our motivation to drive forward The Duncan Gibbins Academy means that we are dedicated to providing students with the skills needed for working both within and outside of the legal sector.

At Duncan Gibbins we strongly believe in creating as many recruitment opportunities as possible for university and postgraduate students, whether law based or not, as our primary aim is to get more students into jobs.

As the firm grows rapidly, we are now looking to recruit new trainees each year.

Whether or not you are successful in beginning a job at Duncan Gibbins, The Duncan Gibbins Academy provides valuable advice and know-how for students looking for recruitments elsewhere.

We take the view that by creating work experience and recruitment opportunities for students as early as possible; this will help to establish a greater awareness in all areas of the economy and will ultimately contribute to helping students make informed decisions about their chosen career paths.
