Duncan Gibbins Solicitors were amongst the 500 people who attended the fantastic darts event at Aintree Racecourse last Saturday, 3 March in support of the Suranna Stepping Stone Charity.
The evening hosted the current World Champion, Adrian ‘Jackpot’ Lewis as well as Colin ‘Jaws’ Lloyd, Wes ‘The Warrior’ Newton, Paul ‘The Asset’ Nicholson and Alan ‘The Iceman’ Warriner being some of the other big names who attended. The stars of the darts world were joined by Russ Bray, supplying scoring and commentary.
Darts For Suranna Stepping Stone Charity
Although the evening was great fun, with members of our team even getting the chance to meet some of the famous players, there was a serious side to the event.
The evening was held to raise money for a local four year old girl, Suranna who suffers from cerebral palsy diplegia. Currently she is unable to walk without help but if £50 000 is successfully raised then this will help fund a 100% effective operation in America to help her walk.
