Fake Moustache Wednesday

The end of Movember came around yesterday and we were delighted to get everyone involved in the office. Duncan Gibbins put on a show, asking all the Mo Bros and Mo Sistas to get together for the day and have some fun.

Those who hadn’t grown a moustache for the month were kindly asked to donate a small amount to the fund and pick out a fake moustache to wear for the day. I’m sure you’ll agree they all looked fantastic.

Over the course of the day we managed to raise a total of £80 from the fake moustache sale alone, adding to a current total of £720 for our team.

Today we have also been selling Moustache Cookies to raise even more smiles around the office!

Our Munchstache cookies have gone down a treat, raising even more money for Movember.

Movember is such a great cause, raising both awareness of and funds for men’s health charities, specifically for prostate and testicular cancer.

Each Movember gives a chance for Mo Bros and Mo Sistas to get people talking about male cancers, the damage it can have on people’s lives and of course the more positive aspect that campaigns such as this can have to assist people who are battling through.

Over 112.000 people took part in the UK alone last year, raising a magnificent £11.7 Million for the charities involved with Movember.

This year the movement has grown yet again and we are glad to have been a part of it here at Duncan Gibbins.

We raised £80 from fake moustache sales in the office.
