Compensation relating to arm injuries will range from the most serious injury consisting of the amputation of both arms through to substantial disablement or a moderate or minor injury.

As a guideline, the level of compensation will fall within one of the following brackets:-

  • Loss of Both arms – up to £191,500
  • Loss of one arm amputated at the shoulder – up to £87,500
  • Arm amputated above elbow – up to £83,500
  • Arm amputated below elbow – up to £70,000

Other Arm Injuries:-

  • Severe Injuries – up to £83,500
  • Injuries resulting in permanent and substantial disablement – up to £38,250
  • Less severe injuries – up to £25,000
  • Simple fractures to the Forearm – up to £12,250
