Bilal Hussain
I studied at Manchester Metropolitan University and graduated in 2010 with a LLB (Hons) degree in Law. I am currently completing the Legal Practice Course at Manchester Metropolitan University which I am due to complete in December 2011.
I have gained previous legal experience from various different sectors of the legal field which include conveyancing, wills and probate and also personal injury. I have worked for a small law firm and also spent time shadowing barristers in criminal proceedings before joining Duncan Gibbins Solicitors in April 2011.
Best Part of the job
The best part of the job is that no two days are the same and no two cases are ever the same. You are always challenged with something different that allows you to learn something new every day.
Personal/ Career Highlight
Graduating with a LLB (Hons) degree in law and obtaining a job at Duncan Gibbins Solicitors. Career highlights include being involved assisting a prosecution barrister in a successful high profile murder trial.
Hobbies/ Interests
I am a devoted football fan and support AC Milan. Outside of work I also enjoy travelling, playing almost every sport and socialising with family and friends.
Alternative Career
From a young age I always wanted to be a doctor and would also love to be a professional footballer and play for AC Milan football club, ideally I would combine the two alongside a career in law!
